I wish he wouldn't have said this:
“These are America’s problems, and we must come together as Americans to meet them with the urgency this moment demands,” he said today in his weekly radio address. “If we don’t act swiftly and boldly, we could see a much deeper economic downturn that could lead to double-digit unemployment.”
Maybe I'm naive but I think that Obama is going to get a free pass to do whatever he sees fit on the domestic economy. I'm not sure whether he is fear mongering in order to engender more authority to act, or planting the seeds so he can take credit should the U.S. avert a depression.
Either way me no likey.
