"Authorities Say Texas Company Ran Ponzi Scam

The Securities and Exchange Commission said Tuesday that it has obtained an emergency asset freeze against a Dallas company in bankruptcy and three of its operators amid civil allegations the company ran a $485 million Ponzi scheme."

There was a time when a half billion dollar scam was news. Not any more. Now it is a few paragraphs on page C3. I guess Michael Jackson wasn't an investor.
